On November 15, 2017, Roses & Cigarettes made the pilgrimage to Nazareth, PA to visit the Martin Guitar Factory!
The band was invited to visit and perform at Martin Guitar. Upon their arrival, the band got a private tour of the factory and got to see first hand how Martin makes their world famous guitars. From a beautiful piece of cured spruce, to the stunning guitar being played for the first time, it was an incredible experience they will cherish forever.
After the tour of the factory, R&C performed a few original songs inside the Martin Museum (videos will be out soon!) The Martin Museum is an incredibly stunning room filled with guitars owned by Hank Williams, Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young, Eric Clapton, Sting and Elvis. They also had exhibits of old ukuleles and mandolins that were upwards of 100 years old! To play their songs in the presence of such rock and roll history was simply amazing. The band is humbled and honored to have been invited to take part in such an amazing experience!
The band would like to thank Chris Thomas and the entire staff and crew at Martin Guitars for welcoming them with open arms!
